My childhood favorite!

We received this book today. I thought it would be a great book for my 7 year old daughter and I to read together, since it was one of my favorites as a child. My boys joined us and we're begging me not to stop reading! It's a great story for young girls to read, it keeps their spirits and imaginations alive and healthy! About the Author
Edward Buscombe was formerly head of publishing at the British Film Institute. He is the editor of The BFI Companion to the Western and the author of John Ford’s"Stagecoach," The Searchers, and Cinema Today.

A Big Disappointment.

No in depth analysis of why the 'injun' image persists throughout American and European history. This book is more of a chronicle of the Indian as portrayed in American and European art and film. This book was incredibly disappointing as I was looking for a harder read but if someone is only looking for a summary of Indians in film or perhaps a filmography, this is where to start.

The delivery of the book was prompt and it was in pristine condition. No disappointments there.

Informative, makes you look inside what is or isn't going on in Hollywood. I used it as a source for an English essay and it was quite helpful.
