About the Author
Jon Mundy, PhD, is the publisher of Miracles magazine and the Executive Director of All Faiths Seminary International in New York City. He taught courses in Philosophy and Religion from 1967 to 2008 at the New School University and the State University of New York. He was introduced to A Course in Miracles by its scribe Dr. Helen Schucman in 1975. He lives in NY.

Speaking of Miracles

My husband died in August 2016 and one month after he died I was thinking out loud that I wished he could give me a sign so that I would know that he was all right. I had my blu-ray remote in my hand and the Youtube application was on. So I typed my husband's name, John Mundy, in the search engine. Well I was gobsmacked to see the video entitled, "A Happy Conversation About Death With Jon Mundy." I watched Jon Mundy and Amy Torres having a happy conversation about death and it made me feel good. I had never heard of Jon or Amy before this happened, nor had I ever heard of A Course in Miracles. I purchased a couple copies of this book, one for a friend and one for me.
Grief is just something that you have to experience in life. The funeral was a comfort and the 'buck up and soldier on plan' was working for me. After all, time cures all wounds. . . . at least the non-fatal wounds. John was a good man, and I knew that he was in heaven with his creator. However, this book gave me the opportunity to analyze and contemplate the real meaning of his passing. I found it enlightening and comforting and I enjoyed reading it at my own pace.
It took me a while to read this book because, my mind would wander as what I was reading provoked so many thoughts. The message is simple that the only thing that is real is the love and that is the eternal life and the eternal truth. It also surrounds us here in our mortal lives, however, being ego-driven we are often distracted by the general annoyances, our overactive imaginations, matters of great consequences and, of course, the multitudes of knuckleheads. (God love us.)
This would be a good book for people who are grieving as well as people looking at the conclusion of their own mortal lives. I am very glad I read Eternal Life and A Course in Miracles by Jon Mundy.

Jon Mundy has clearly written about the concept of dying and moving into our eternal essence of love. This book will help anyone understand that there is more to life than just our bodies and it will help those of us left behind to understand that our loved ones are still living. He supports his thoughts with quotes from A Course in Miracles and from other writers. This is a lovely book to read, it is insightful and helpful. I bought two copies, one to read and one to give to a friend.

Deserves more stars than available

This is honestly one of the best spiritual books I have ever read! Jon Mundy is a very talented writer and shares his profound insights on a very readable level. I agree with other reviewers that this is his best book (which is saying saying something since all of his books are great.) It gives a beautiful and peaceful outlook with a healthy supply of humor. Would really like to give it a few more stars....
