About the Author
Lucia Caycedo Garner is from Colombia. She taught language and pedagogy courses for more than thirty years at the University of Wisconsin, Madison before her retirement. She is the author of IM�GENES, CLARO QUE S�! FUENTES: CONVERSACI�N Y GRAM�TICA, FUENTES: LITERATURA Y REDACCI�N, and EN PAREJAS 1, 2, 3 Y 4. She was an ACTFL OPI tester and trainer. She was a frequent presenter at the local, state, and national levels. She was also a contributor to the University of Wisconsin Spanish Placement Exam.
Debbie Rusch has been the coordinator of Elementary Spanish at Boston College since 1990. She is the author of IM�GENES, CLARO QUE Si!, AN�MATE, FUENTES: CONVERSACI�N Y GRAM�TICA, and EN PAREJAS 1, 2, 3 Y 4. At Boston College she has taught pedagogy courses. She has been an instructor of Spanish for more than 35 years and has also taught English as a Foreign Language in Spain, where she lived for more than six years. She is a frequent presenter at state, regional, and national conferences and conducts workshops for school districts.
Marcela Dominguez is from Argentina. She was also a lecturer and coordinator at Pepperdine University for seven and three years respectively. She also taught at UCLA and USC. She is the author of IM�GENES, CLARO QUE Si!, AN�MATE, FUENTES: CONVERSACI�N Y GRAM�TICA, and EN PAREJAS 1, 2, 3 Y 4. Marcela frequently presents at conferences at the regional and national levels. Beware

I purchased this book for my daughter for her Spanish class. It is a teacher's edition, which will be of no use to her in school. It did not specify that when I purchased it. Also on the cover of the book it clearly states "This work was provided free of charge to an instructor for evaluation... sale or resale is prohibited."

Excellent Spanish Language Textbook

Since the 2nd edition of the textbook "�Claro que s�!" is not available here, I am leaving this review at the 6th Edition of this Spanish language textbook.
I have a 2nd Edition (1993), and the 6th Edition, logically, cannot be worse than the 2nd Edition.
My comment, however, is not about the physical qualities of the book (by the way the 2nd Edition I have is in a hard cover and of a very good quality).
My comments are about the textbook as a language study tool. I am a language teacher with 18 years of experience. My Spanish (knowledge, studies)is 8 years old. It is my second foreign language after English.
The book is excellent. It gives a wide perspective of Spanish language and culture across many Spanish speaking countries: Latin America and Spain. It has good grammar presentation and rich content of themes (topics). If a student thoroughly studies this book, he or she will progress their knowledge significantly. The book is good for everybody from beginning to high-intermediate, even advanced level. The language textbooks are often hard to fit into the levels, because of their individual approach to that particular language. If a student studies many textbooks, he or she will benefit from all of them: every book will have something new and unique of that particular author.
Highly recommended.

didnt include ilrn access code

obviously advertised that it was with ilrn but the code wasnt included. definately not worth buying the book since you can get the ebook with ilrn for only $90. i wouldnt buy this product unless you only want the book
